Worth knowing: Accreditation of the Wealth and Assets Survey was suspended by the Office for Statistics Regulation on 13 June 2025, from Round 8 onwards, over falling response rates and data quality — it remains the best available reference but is not accredited official statistics. Covers private pension wealth not yet in payment (active or preserved), among people who have some: individuals with no private pension are excluded, so this is the median among pension savers, not among all adults.
