Worth knowing: England only — the Health Survey for England does not cover Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. Percentiles are derived directly from HSE's published drinking-band shares (the proportion of adults at or below 0 units, 14 units, and 50 units for men / 35 for women), because HSE publishes band shares rather than percentiles. Non-drinkers are included at zero units. Placements above the top band are clamped to it.
